SIBRIT is involved in all official national celebrations, special occasions, and public performances to Eritreans all over the country and during heads of state visits to Eritrea .

One of the significant features is its use of traditional musical instruments like "kirar, rebaba, wata, shambuko, abangala, kebero (drums)", which have been upgraded and used effectively in the activitiesof the group.
