This website is launched by the Eritrean Embassy of the State of Eritrea in South Africa with the aims of disseminating objective information and critical thinking that serves the truth. The goal is to consolidate the effort that has so far been made in various ways to create a deeper insight on Eritrea , strengthen the positive image of Eritrea and support the greater visibility of the Embassy and the State of Eritrea in the Southern Africa Region. The Embassy of the State of Eritrea is so far accredited to Namibia , Zimbabwe , Mozambique , Zambia , Mauritius and Angola .

The focus of the website will thus mainly be to propagate information on the national development prospects in the country, give updates on the progress made in the bilateral relations and cooperation between Eritrea and countries in the Southern Africa Region, sensitize private investors and businesses on the trade and investment potential in Eritrea and in particular provide information and guidance on the tourism sector in the country.
